Meeting 4/30

Today we will continue work from the Junior Journey book-  "Get Moving!" If your daughter does not have a copy of this book, she can work from the troop copy. We are currently talking about energy, carbon footprints, and other Earthy things.

There are 3 Journey books available to Junior Girl Scouts. They are $7 each at the GS Shop. Journey books are great for Summer activity books, or long car trips- she'll be keeping busy,  learning, and earning patches all at the same time.

Completing a Journey book is the first step towards earning the Junior Bronze Award. The Bronze Award has it's own section in the Junior GG2GS, found just before the "Badges" section.

I need everyone to turn in their Permission Packets tonight, regardless of permission status. I need to finish assembling them so they are ready the next time we have an event. The packets went home 4/9, and consist of hole punched 4 pages.
