Tonight we will talk about the upcoming SU Swap Meet, next week's Court of Awards, our Adopt-a-Grandparent community service project, and our final thoughts on Cookies.
Cookie Season is winding down. Adults need to bring in their final money deposit and any unsold cookies. Adults will have the option of turning them in, holding on to them (to sell- details apply), or checking them out to another girl. I will have up-to-date cookie counts for everyone. We will be unable to obtain more cookies from the warehouse at that point. The troop must turn in Council's share of the money (several thousand dollars) by this Wednesday, but we will still be able to sell our on-hand cookies for a while longer. I would like to have our troop be done with Cookies by next week.
I must also enter final Cookie Credits for prizes this week.
We would like to do our next Court of Awards next Monday- March 26. If your Scout has been working on any badges at home, please finish them up and let me know by Thursday March 22 so I can get them on time. The girls worked so hard for their Cookie Connection badges, and have earned some cool fun patches (camping, World Thinking Day, etc.) I know they will be so excited to add some more bling to their vests! Lisa and I will figure out a location and call you all ASAP.
Lisa may have found us a meeting location! We will be going to check it out soon. As always, if your child needs a ride to or from meetings- or any event- please just let us know. We are happy to help.
